A House For My Kids

Hello Everyone,

Well you’re looking at it, the results of a God given idea, a lot of prayer and many hours of a labor in love!

From the start God has provided. He sent Jon Conley our way to get the recording done! He sent our friend Marty Penton who knew exactly what needed to be done to provide 4,000 post cards (that we are still addressing). He sent several dear musician friends to play on the project! Our friend Tere Bertke took it upon himself to fly up from Tampa, FL. to be a part of this! He sent a couple of business men in FL who just happened to hear about us, thank you Jeff and Rita, and wanted to make sure that we had the funds necessary to get the recording done! We are also thankful for all the friends and family members who have received a thousand e-mails from us to give us much needed perspective and editing.

Now here’s where we are…we have finished recording and will be mixing 2 days next week. Then the project goes to CRT here in Nashville to be printed and packaged, ready for sale! I believe the CD will be completed and ready for sale the 2nd or 3rd week of February. While that is happening, we will be working on mailing lists, address labels, and all the press releases we can get – such as newspaper articles, magazine articles, newsletters etc. We’re also working on setting up website links.

This is very much a grass roots effort and we need each and every one of you. When our oldest son began having this struggle I knew what had to be done, but not how to financially get there! As a father that doesn’t feel too good. So what do you do in this situation? You pray! Real hard! And so here we are. We’re so excited for you all to hear the music and to see the many pictures of our family that we will be putting on this website. We want to thank you again for the phone calls, cards, letters, (the many Extreme Home Makeover applications), the encouragement and the prayers! Please tell all of your friends and family members how important it is to own one of these CD’s. We will try to keep the latest news fresh and up to date! We hope to come to you with some exciting news about the sales of the CD and then about breaking ground on a house for my kids.
